GLOW Film Festival is a global female-founded film festival based in Cape Town, South Africa. Established by Natasha Mayet — a Pakistani-born, U.S, and South Africa-based filmmaker — GLOW is a celebration of bold storytelling, artistic innovation, and global inclusion.

We believe great stories can come from anywhere — and deserve to be seen everywhere. That’s why GLOW actively champions underrepresented voices, international collaborations, and the future of film, including AI-generated cinema and genre-pushing narratives.

We welcome submissions from all filmmakers and aim to create a platform where talent can be discovered, connections made, and global opportunities unlocked.

Where We Are
Our flagship event takes place in Cape Town on the rooftop of the stunning GRAND DADDY BOUTIQUE HOTEL, with future screenings planned in cities around the world — including Atlanta, Paris, and beyond.
